Hall effect was discovered by Edwin Hall in the year 1879. Hall effect is defined as the generation of potential difference across the end of the current carrying conductor when magnetic field is applied perpendicular to current. Voltage generated across perpendicular to both magnetic field and current in the conductor is known as Hall Voltage. Hall effect is use in the various application like Magnetometer, Motion Sensing, Hall effect sensors etc.
