An electromechanical relay is a type of relay that works on the principle of electromagnetic induction, it is used to convert the flow of electrical signal.

It is an electrical operated switch that break the circuits in an overload condition.
An electromagnetic relay is the type of relay that uses an electromagnet as a switch to on or off the circuit.
It is use to control the flow of electrical signal.
Its main component:
Movable armature.
Electromagnetic coil.
Movable contact.
Stationary contact.
Spring.
Movable Armature: Movable armature is a hinged component which is made up of ferromagnetic material. It works as a connecting medium between electrical contact and electromagnetic coil.
Electromagnetic coil: An electromagnetic coil is act as an electromagnet. It get energizes by the electrical signal and attract the movable contact which turn on the circuit.
Movable contact: It connected with the movable armature. According to, movable armature attracted towards the electromagnetic coil or not attracted toward electromagnetic coil, the movable contact change its position.
Stationary contact: It is fixed non-moving component which connect with the movable contact when movable armature is attracted towards the electromagnetic coil.
Spring: Spring is use to provide restoring force to the movable armature and movable contact to their default position when the electromagnetic coil is de-energized.
