The Glass Cartridge fuse is the safety device that is used to protect electrical systems against overload, overcurrent, and short circuits.
The main function of the cartridge fuse is to protect systems and to protect life.
Construction:
It consists of a glass tube and a thin fuse wire is sealed inside it. There are two metal caps at both ends of the glass.
Fuse wire melts when over current flows through its capacity.
Applications:
1. Airconditioner.
2. Refrigerator.
3. Vehicles.
