In physics, a sinusoidal plane wave is a wave whose value varies as a sinusoidal function of time and of the distance from some fixed plane.
Application:
Sinusoidal wave equation describes the electromagnetic radiation in a homogeneous dielectric medium admitted as special solutions that are sinusoidal plane waves.
