Muon is an elementary particle similar to the electron, with an electric charge of -1 e and a spin of 1/2, but with a much greater mass than an electron.
Muon was discovered in the year 1936 by two scientists, Carl D. Anderson, and Seth Neddermeyer.
Muon decays into electron, electron antineutrino and muon neutrino.
