In the year 1860, James Clerk Maxwell published equations that describe how charged particles give rise to electric and magnetic force per unit charge.
Maxwell’s equations in the differential form are given below:
To calculate the electric field created by a charge.
The net magnetic flux in any closed surface is zero. There are no magnetic mono-poles.
Change in magnetic fields creates electric fields.
Change in the electric field produces magnetic fields.
