Plasma is one of the four fundamental states of matter, and was first define by chemist Irving Langmuir in the 1920s.
The Earth’s ionosphere is a plasma and the magnetosphere contains plasma in the Earth’s surrounding space environment.
It consists of a gas of ions – atoms which own some of their orbital electrons removed – and free electrons.
The interior of the Sun is an example of fully ionized plasma, along with the solar corona and stars.
On heating Solid turns into liquid
On heating Liquid turns into Gas
On heating Gas turns into plasma
In plasma state electron and proton are separated from each other from nuclear interaction. And able to conduct electricity
