What is Electric Power: Definition and Diagram

    Electrical power is defined as the rate at which electrical energy is consumed in an electrical circuit.

    The SI unit of electrical power is watt(W).

    Electrical Power, P = Electrical energy consumed/time.

    P = VIt/t = VI.

    P = VI = I^2 R = V^2/R.

    P = Electric Power.

    V = Voltage.

    I = Current.

    R = Resistance.
