What is Capacitor:Explanation

A capacitor is an electric device that works as a charge storing device. It has two terminals.

It stores the charge in the form of an electric field.Separator Site title

When the voltage is applied across the capacitor it stores the electric charge on it until the voltage across the capacitor is equal to that of applied voltage.

The charge carrying capacitance of the capacitor is measured in capacitance.
