    The magnitude of the centripetal force on an object of mass m, moving at tangential speed ‘v’ along a path with a radius of curvature, is given by,

    Centripetal Force = Mass x Centripetal acceleration.

    Centripetal acceleration = (V^2)/r.

    R = radius.

    In terms of the angular velocity ‘ω’ by which an object moves in the circular direction.

    v = ωr

    By putting the value of v,

    Centripetal Force = Mass x (ω^2) x r
