    NEWTON’S LAW OF UNIVERSAL GRAVITATION STATES THAT EVERY OBJECT ATTRACTS EACH OTHER IN THE UNIVERSE WITH A FORCE THAT IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO THE PRODUCT OF THEIR MASSES AND INVERSELY PROPORTIONAL TO THE SQUARE OF THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THEIR CENTERS.
