It describes the physical properties of nature at the scale of atoms and subatomic particles, compared to the atomic scales at small (atomic) scale, for which the theory of relativity is insufficient. the modern theory formulated in various specially developed mathematical formalisms, including Niels Bohr, Erwin Schrödinger, Werner Heisenberg and others.
